GoAbroadly was founded with one belief: students deserve the truth. Not fake guarantees. Not overpriced services. Just real guidance from people who genuinely care.
The study abroad industry is full of middlemen who prioritise commissions over students. We built GoAbroadly to be different. Your dream, not our margin, comes first.
When you work with GoAbroadly you are not a transaction. You are a student with a plan, and we treat every application with the same care we would give our own family.
Saurabh Dey, Founder and Managing Director
The study abroad industry had a problem nobody wanted to talk about. Consultants were pushing students toward universities not because they were the right fit, but because the commission was higher. The student's future was being traded for an agent's margin. Nobody was genuinely on the student's side.
Saurabh spent years inside this industry watching this happen. Students with real potential being pushed into wrong courses, wrong universities, sometimes wrong countries entirely, only to face visa refusals, wasted money, and wasted years. He had seen it from both sides: as a student himself who couldn't get the right guidance, and later as an insider who saw exactly how decisions were being made.
GoAbroadly was built in December 2025 with one founding principle: no strings attached to the student. Ever. If a university is not right for you, we will not recommend it, no matter what the commission is. Study abroad is not a luxury. It is a dream that anyone should be able to reach with the right guidance behind them.
Saurabh Dey has spent over five years inside the international education industry. In that time he has counselled thousands of students, secured hundreds of UK visa approvals, and built direct relationships with over 35 UK institutions. But the number that matters most to him is zero, the amount every GoAbroadly student has ever paid for consultancy.
His approach to counselling is built on complete honesty. If a student's profile needs work, he says so. If a university is not the right fit, he says that too, even if it costs a commission. If a student is not ready to go this year, he builds a plan to get them there next year. The student's outcome is the only metric that matters.
What makes Saurabh different is that he lived the experience from the student side first. He understands what it means to carry this dream without a clear roadmap, which is exactly why his guidance is never generic. Every student gets a plan built specifically around where they actually are, not where a standard template assumes they should be.
