guidance

• UK September intake: UCAS standard deadline is mid-January. Universities can accept late applications through June (Clearing). Book IELTS by October at the latest.
• Canada September intake: Most universities accept applications October through March. IELTS must be completed and results received by the university by March. Apply to 4 to 6 universities minimum.
• Canada January intake: Apply August through October. Smaller intake — fewer programme options available. Good for students who miss September deadlines.
• Australia February intake: Apply July through November. IELTS must be completed by October. Visa applications can be filed once you have your offer letter.
• Germany Winter Semester (October start): Applications close June to July at most universities. APS credential evaluation must be completed by May — start this in January.
• Germany Summer Semester (April start): Smaller intake with fewer English-taught options. Applications close November to December.
• Visa application timelines: UK — apply up to 6 months before course start. Canada — apply as soon as offer received. Australia — as soon as offer and financial evidence ready.
